The Lincoln Photography Club is open to anyone who is interested in photography - hobbyist, amateur, or professional. All skill levels are welcome. The club meets on the third Tuesday of the month, 7:00 pm, at the Lincoln Cultural Center located at 403 East Main Street,Lincolnton, NC
The Lincoln Photography Club will meet January 19th in the Community Room on second floor at 7:00pm at the Lincoln Cultural Center. Our guest speaker, Chris Goodson will be sharing the Google Photo app. Visitors with questions about a new camera are welcome to come and members will help you with your camera as well.

The photography club has been invited to display 9 - 12 photos at St. Luke's church in Lincolnton as a part of their month long exhibit entitled "From the Earth". They will be displaying pottery as well as art pieces. This will also be in display for the Art Crawl. They would like large pieces 16 x 20 or larger framed. If you have a piece(s) you would like to display that expresses this theme please let me know.

April Meeting
The Lincoln Photography Club will meet at the Lincoln Cultural Center Community Room on April 22 at 7:00. Members will share and compete with any photo taken in Lincolnton. The photo should be a matted an 8 x 10.
February Meeting
Our February meeting will be Feb. 25 at 7:00 at the Lincoln Cultural Center. As an extension of our last meeting on portraits, Dorreen will be sharing several photos and talk about poses for portraits. She also has some photos to share from when her daughter modeled for the Catawba Camera Club. If you took a photo at our last meeting of her that you would like to share please bring it.

November Meeting
The Lincoln Photography Club will meet Monday, November 26 at 7:00 in the Community room of the Lincoln Cultural Center. Please bring a snack and a print of your favorite photo taken this year. Visitors are welcome.
October Meeting
Our next meeting will be Monday, October 22 at the Lincoln Cultural center. Our topic will be motion shots. We plan to go outside a see if we can get some car light trails. We have an optional topic in case if poor weather.

May 21st Meeting

The Amateur Photography Competition runs through January 22, 2012 and can be viewed at the Lincoln Cultural Center, 403 E. Main St. Lincolnton, Monday–Friday from 10– 5pm. September Meeting
Our next meeting will be January 23rd at 7:00 in the Community Room at the Lincoln Cultural Center. We would like to invite the community to bring in any new cameras they received for Christmas and our club members will assist you in learning how to use your camera and how to take better photos. Spread the word so we can help as many folks as possible.

Our next meeting is August 22, 2011. We will be meeting at the Lincoln Cultural Center at 7:00. The Cultural Center is located at the corner of Main Street and Cedar St. Please enter through the Cedar St. door. We will be meeting on the second floor. Please use the stairs or elevator. Signs will be posted to direct you to the meeting room.

Our guest speaker for our June 2011 meeting held at the Lincoln Cultural Center was Robert Dant. Robert is owner of Hickory Photography as well as an instructor at Catawba Valley Community College. Even though Robert has many areas of expertise his topic tonight was Stock Photography.
First Robert always gets permission of people he uses in his photography. He uses two agencies. Photos cannot have copyright violations such as a company name or item in the photo. It must be a high quality photograph.
There are two types of stock photography: Rights management and royalty free.
